WHAT IS A LOVESTONE?

It is one of the 60,000 marble tiles that cover the Lovers’ Terrace in Verona. You can purchase one and customize it with your message of love, which will be carved using laser technology.
Your love will remain set forever in this magical place, the Lovers’ Terrace, which is found in the most visited site of the City of Love: the Courtyard of Juliet’s House!

HOW MUCH DOES A LOVESTONE COST?

The donation for carving a Lovestone is € 99, which will be given to the Teatro Stabile in Verona, the owner of the terrace, in order to maintain the building and create cultural activities, such as the performance on site of famous scenes from the well-known work by Shakespeare.
At the moment of your purchase, you will be issued a Lovestone Certificate that guarantees possession of your Lovestone and provides the coordinates to find it on the Lovers’ Terrace.
Furthermore, if you wish, with a further a contribution you will receive at home one or two copies of your Lovestone, identical to the one on the Terrace. You can choose the packing you prefer.
The copy, or copies, will be sent to the address you request, for example to that of your loved one.

HOW CAN I PURCHASE A LOVESTONE?

There are 2 ways to purchase a Lovestone:

♥ You can purchase it at the Lovestone Shop located on the Lovers’ Terrace. In this case you will be immediately issued the Lovestone Certificate and will receive a souvenir copy of your Lovestone free of charge. Consult the section “How to reach us” to find out about opening hours.

♥ You can purchase it on the website www.lovestone.it by clicking on the key “Purchase your Lovestone”.

Write your message of love by choosing the format you prefer, you will be asked for some registration data and at the end of the purchasing process you can choose whether to pay by credit card or bank transfer.
If you choose to pay by credit card, you will immediately receive the Lovestone Certificate by e-mail, and the copy or copies within 7 workdays by express courier, if you have chosen this option.
If you choose to pay by bank transfer, you will receive the bank coordinates for payment by e-mail. After having made the payment you must send a copy of the proof of transfer to the address info@lovestone.it or by fax at the number 045-8031216.
Only when the bank transfer has been credited to the Lovestone account you will receive the Lovestone Certificate and the copy of it, if requested.
If a copy of the proof of bank transfer has not been sent within 7 workdays from ordering from the website, the Lovestone Shop reserves the right to cancel your order.
In both cases, your love phrase will be carved on the Terrace within maximum 40 days from the date of purchase.

WHAT CAN I DO TO RECEIVE A COPY OF MY LOVESTONE AT HOME?

If, apart from the carving on the Terrace, you would like to receive one or two copies of the Lovestone, you will be requested to pay an additional:

♥ 35* Euro for a copy in Basic package

♥ 45* Euro for two copies in 2 Basic packages

♥ 39* Euro for a copy in the Luxury package

♥ 49* Euro for two copies in 2 Luxury packages

♥ 47* Euro for a copy in Basic package and a copy in Luxury package.

During the purchase process the address for shipment will be requested, in order to send the copy, which will be delivered in maximum 7 workdays. You can choose to enter the address of the person you want to dedicate the Lovestone to.
The address must be completed in each part and include a telephone number, required by the express courier for communication. You can enter a time in which the courier can deliver the package or even your work address. This is to make the shipment certain and precise.

I WANT TO COME SEE MY CARVED LOVESTONE, WHERE IS THE LOVERS’ TERRACE LOCATED?

The Lovers’ Terrace is located in Verona in Via Cappello, 23.
Enter the courtyard, on your right you can admire Juliet’s House, while on your left there is a staircase that will take you to the Terrace, where, apart from experiencing the magical atmosphere of one of the most beautiful stories ever written, you can see the Lovestones carved until now. You can also visit the Lovestone Shop and get further information on the project.  

DOES THE LOVESTONE REMAIN FOREVER?

Yes, your Lovestone will never be removed from the Terrace and will remain carved forever until the stone naturally deteriorates, due to atmospheric agents and visitors walking on it.

HOW BIG IS A LOVESTONE AND WHAT MATERIAL IS IT MADE OF?

A Lovestone is 5 cm x 5 cm. It is made of two different qualities of marble: Verona Red and Bardiglio Gray. You cannot choose the type of marble your message will be carved on because the computer system assigns each love message a specific position on the Terrace.
